Join Tanja Raaste from Edible Garden for this session on 'Garden pests' to hear about her experiences in finding eco-friendly ways to save your crops from pests. All growers have problems with all creatures great and small and are looking to find the best ways to reduce the damage to their plants.

This session starts promptly at 8pm with a 25 minute talk and 35 minutes for Q and A.

Got a question you'd like answered in this session? Then email: info@rossroad.org

Suitable for those who have just started growing food.

Once you register, you will receive a link and a password to our Zoom meeting session.

The waiting room will open ten minutes before the talk starts.

Trainer: Tanja Raaste

Tanja Raaste started her gardening journey with a potted basil plant, after which things got out of hand. She now grows over 70 varieties of edible plant in her small urban garden, using organic, permaculture, no-dig and forest gardening methods – all designed to make the garden as productive, beautiful and low-maintenance as possible.

Decisions on what to grow are made on the basis of tastiness – a true stomach-led garden! When not experimenting in the garden, she runs the Edible Garden blog. Through the summer, there are also a couple of garden tours/workshops, where we look at what to grow, where to grow it, how to deal with pests, and a Q&A over some home-grown herbal teas.
